Timeslips Updates

Timeslips is now sold only as an annual subscription with the price based on the tier of features selected. The Starter Tier is intended for sole practitioners who have a single workstation and no server. The Standard level is for firms up to four users. The Pro Tier adds more features and the ability to purchase additional licenses. The Elite level is the only one that includes the ability to undo multiple bills. Historically, for a specific client, you could only undo the most recent invoice. The Elite level (and anyone currently on the subscription version) allows you to undo multiple past invoices for a client and redo them. For firms considering the subscription option, this feature alone may make it worth the additional cost of getting the Elite tier. The Standard, Pro and Elite Tiers include 1, 2 and 3 eCenter licenses, respectively. eCenter is a browser based option to enter time. eCenter essentially adds more licenses for those who enter their time and send it to the main database. For firms using Lawpay as their credit card processor eCenter can also serve as a portal that allows clients to access previous invoices and pay by credit card.
As of Oct 1, 2022, Sage has increased the annual cost of each tier. Firms that are currently on subscription will see this increase when they renew. For firms on older, unsupported versions, if you intend to continue using Timeslips, be aware the cost is going to increase. If you are on an older version, the older your version, the more challenging it will be to upgrade.
